"Is that what you've been showing them, though, Kitsune-san? Your origami has been quite nice, but I wonder if perhaps that has been your real struggle. You've been making origami because you believe that is what they expect, but it's not what you really want to show them." she asked.

"I am rather fond of the mountains myself, though my travels tiypically take me through the Dragon mountains. There is a rugged, natural beauty to be found there, as if you're standing on the top of the Empire." she offered.

"Ah well, I strive to bring the performing arts to the far flung corners of the Empire, Kitsune-san, but I am but one woman at the end of the day." she said, a hint apologetically. "Is Kitsune-san particularly interested in the theater?"

"Oh, I wouldn't be so sure about that Kitsune-san. Not every part needs many lines. Some just need to be where they need to be to to make the story come together." she suggested. "But as for the choice of production, it is like all art. The question becomes, 'What are you trying to convey to the audience? Are you trying to entertain them? To make them think? And not every production is meant for every clan. You can preform 'Virtue' to any Lion only court to their overwhelming praise, the Crane will have their finest duelists ready before you lift the curtain if you try to perform it in their lands."

She leaned back considering.

"Hmm, perhaps a revival of that certain story about the Lion with the Scorpion wife. The jealous Crane lover with the flowers and the bridge tends to get quite the laugh."
