It happened again (D5 MM Shizenko's room)

[Doji Yoshino]

It was a little silly, but it was playful and cute. She could see why the Fox liked it. On the other hand, the syllables were a bit off. She tapped her chin.

"It's fun, isn't it? Very inspired by nature. I take it you have a lot of experience of nature, animals and such? It would be nice to share that with a poem."

[Kitsune Shizenko]

"It is. nature is home. Kyuden Kitsune is in the middle of the forest that we are sworn to protect. My ancestral line is one sworn to protect the animals. So yes I have much experience with nature and the such." She smiled. "I know is not really a good poem but it is one of the few I remember."

[Doji Yoshino]

The Crane lowered her hand from her chin. "Ja, what are your favourite animals Kitsune-san?" It was perhaps a good thing the tanuki was asleep just in case Shizenko didn't name the tanuki in her top list!

[Kitsune Shizenko]

"That is a dificult question Doji sama." Shizenko started to think. "They are so many... I cannot choose one."

[Doji Yoshino]

"Then, what do you like about animals?" Yoshino tried rephrasing the question.

[Kitsune Shizenko]

"They are good listeners and some give good advice. Many don't judge. They are funny and do what they can to make one laugh when you become their friend. " The young woman mused.

[Doji Yoshino]

This was news to Yoshino who couldn't speak in wildlife tongue. She lifts her eyebrows. "With spells, yes?"

[Kitsune Shizenko]

"Spells? Oh no... Animal understand the human tongue... my ancestry allows this one understand the animals." She nodded looking at Raakun. "He can be chatty at times. I appreciate his counsel from time to time." back to the Doji. "Odd neh?"

[Doji Yoshino]

"Yes... quite." Yoshino had never heard anything like it. She wasn't going to take it as a lie though. It was just very odd to learn about. "My own ancestry doesn't seem so fortuitous. I'm sure that must be very useful."

[Kitsune Shizenko]

"In my line of work it is." She nodded. "Gives clues to where one is searching for the happenings of strange events. It is a strange perk thou."

[Doji Yoshino]

Yoshino pressed her lips together suddenly. She cleared her throat softly. "Speaking of work, I should likely start mine. I can't let this creature get to me. I have some flowers to collect for my display later."

She bows to Shizenko. Lower than necessary.

"Thank you for the other night once again and for helping me calm down today. Sorry for taking so much of your time Kitsune-san."

[Kitsune Shizenko]

"Ah right...my apologies for taking so much of your time. I hope you are better now. I know it wasn't much information but I hope it helps." Shizenko returned the bow. "Please carry the fortunes."

[Doji Yoshino]

She didn't feel worse. That was sort of something. "It doesn't hurt to know a bit more. I really should research gaki it seems."

Yoshino made for the door. "Carry the fortunes too Kitsune-san and good luck today. I hope to see you and Raakun in the gallery." The door was shut quietly behind herself to give Shizenko some peace and privacy.
