[Doji Nadeshiko]

Nadeshiko's discreet as she finds her way to the monk's room, keeping her footfalls quiet and light as she can so as not to disturb... or call attention to herself. Gently she scratches at the door to be let in, calling Yoshiaki's named very softly after a moment so he recognizes who's there.

His own footfalls were almost silent though not intentionally, he seemed to mostly always be on the quiet side. The door would open and she would find Yoshiaki in his room barechested as he always was at the dojo, is seemed to he how he was most comfortable. He stepped aside and motioned her in. "Good afternoon Doji-san, I am glad you could join me." He said quietly with a small smile.

His room was rather neat, stacks of paper on a desk, a few bundles in folders, bottles of ink of varying shades. A tidy futon, neatly made.

And on a low table there was a tray containing a tea pot, two cups and a covered dish.

Yoshiaki turned to her assuming she entered and closed the door behind him "how has the day found you so far?"

Nadeshiko does enter, bowing. "Illuminating," She answers with a keen smile. "It's good to see you as well, Togashi-san. I hope it's no imposition if I speak with you about that tattoo we'd discussed before?"

"Illumination is almost always a better thing than being in the dark." He says as he motioned to the table "certainly, I'm always happy to talk about my art and how others might want me to leave a mark." He says walking over to the table.

"Some tea? It is a simple green blend subtle but can sharpen the mind and push back tiredness." He asked as he sat.

Yoshiaki pours both of them a cup, the tea warm and simple. A well brewed pot of green tea with no frills.

He took a drink and then regarded her with that cool silver gaze of his a small smile on his lips "hmmm I may have some sketches around here some where. It's not something I do all the time but it's something I'm confident I can do. You've seen many of my pieces already giving you an idea of my style."

"I would like to see those, if I may. How does one normally go about commissioning a monk for a tattoo?"

He would stand and move to a table that had a few protective binders and grabbed them starting to rifle through them looking for the artwork in question "There is no set procedure for things that do not often happen." He says as he searches "We are not commissioned for personal use, almost all of my tattoos have been done on my brothers and sisters. Any others done would simply be passion projects for friends." He says smiling as he pulls out a few sketches.

Like how they're simplified for kimono patterns?"

"Have you thought of where you would like it? It can be virtually anywhere, some places hurt more than others, and it depends on if you wish to be able to easily see it or not."

"P-perhaps a little higher than the mid-thigh," She answers, gaze averted. Nadeshiko takes a long sip of tea to avoid having to speak for a little while. Eventually her blush dims. "I imagine it's... strange..."

You seem intent about your virtue. Only ever wanting your spouse to see this." He paused and then grinned a little "unless this is a rather unorthodox proposal Doji-san."

He pulls back emotionally the twinkle in his eyes dulls to a cool, distant, but still friendly expression "I apologize if my joke offended Doji-san it was just that." His tone was more polite and properly apologetic.

She takes a moment to assess him, and then bows low from the waist, letting it linger. "I did not realize it was a joke, Yoshiaki-san." There's a brief pause as her next words are carefully considered. "I am sometimes foolishly quick to protect that which is precious to me. As well, I am not... unfamiliar with the ways of some men." Despite herself, a hint of her hurt seeps into her voice. "I'm sorry."

And so she rises.

"Something simple shouldn't be too difficult, likely only a couple of hours. Four or five at the most, will depend if you need breaks which there is no shame in."

That business settled he took a drink before regarding her once again his gaze a little curious

"What did you mean earlier when you said I should be happy with what I have? I am Unwed and unbetrothed."
