"Regardless of the quality of the drink, it was not wise to take so much of it. If the tent, the birds, and my breath is any indication, it would be well advised to not drink whatever it was like water."

"Agreed."

[Matsu Inori]

Inori swallowed visibly as she saw the other Bayushi approach. Erch. Not her. The Lion was most emphatically not looking forward to another round of being told how to conduct herself and achieve all her goals and become all that she could be.

That said if she was this Imperial's bodyguard...I suppose she is doing her duty. Nice hat, I suppose

Still she couldn't help but shrink back and try to avoid being noticed.

Ameiko had indeed noticed Inori, but she could tell the Lion had wandered onto this situation. The idea of Gaitsu having some manner of...outing...with the Matsu didn't enter her imagination.

"Then, my lord, perhaps we should go elsewhere and see to your day", she said and, removing his travel cloak from the bag she carried, it was offered to the Otomo. Best not to show how...unkempt his clothes were in town.

[Otomo Gaitsu]

"That is...likely for the best, yes," Gaitsu says.

"We'll have to talk, I think," he says to the others.

[Kaiu Kunio]

"Going to have to take care of that tent as well . . . hopefully there aren't any immediate consequences and we can do some looking around. Maybe a formal meeting tomorrow would be in order when more information is known."

[Otomo Gaitsu]

"I imagine I can make room for a Legionnaire," Gaitsu says.

[Matsu Inori]

"We'll have to talk, I think," he says to the others.

"As you say, Otomo-sama" she says, "I think there is little left for me to do now that you're in the care of your staff again. But I'd be happy to see Otomo-sama in town during a later time once this quiets down"

[Otomo Gaitsu]

Gaitsu smiles. It is a charming thing.

"That would be wonderful, Matsu-san," he says. "And I will look forward to seeing more of your paintings, as well."

[Matsu Inori]

"Thank you very much, Otomo-sama" she said "I am flattered you noticed my work"

A deep, thorough bow.

"I will write to Otomo-sama at a later date, or another time of his choosing"

[Otomo Gaitsu]

"I'll look forward to it," Gaitsu says, nodding.

"But I suppose I must be off. Coming, Bayushi-san?"
