She notices that, and visibly relaxes herself, smiling before giving the Scorpion a small bow. "Good evening, Choudai-san. Do you find yourself well?" There's a slight pointedness to how she says it; Nadeshiko doesn't know exactly what's going on, but she has a good guess.

"Oh, I'm quite all right."

Well within my usual standards of misery... oh! But damn, Hatsuki is so, so beautiful.

Hatsuki entered the group, now bare-faced of anything but her mask, feeling confident in her presentation. She wandered between the displays, smiling to herself a little.

Nadeshiko pulls out her fan to hide her grin, the woman doing her absolute best not to laugh. Once her composure's regained it's returned to her obi so she can begin sampling what's on offer. "How blessed we are to have such a thoughtful chef."

Her expression softens as her eyes move over the Scorpion's features, taking in how similar their faces are -- her brow furrowing when she notices the dark circles. She has to hold herself back from shoving the small plate she just prepared into the Scorpion's hands. Her cousin's a grown woman, she doesn't need you babying her! "Perhaps you'd like to try some of Choudai-san's work today? It's quite good." With that said, she pops some into her mouth so she can shut up.

He bowed.

"Between you and Nadeshiko-san, I am in rarefied company indeed."

A tanuki that wasn't paying much attention to where he was going since he was happily with fish head in mouth. The Togashi may feel a bump on his leg. The Kitsune was behind the critter.

From across the room, Aibou glances towards the institutionalized representative and shakes his head ever so slightly.

Then he returns to the conversation he had been having.
