(D2, ME) Talking about Jin with a Scorpion

[Shosuro Otoko]

Having enjoyed the days presentations, Otoko made her way back to the Sunset Leaves tea house for a more private discussion with her various alies. Another pot of tea was produced, the cup filled with fragrant herbal tea, and set to cool on the table.

[Bayushi Choudai]

Choudai, having bought into the Sunset Leaves, was having a perfectly natural and normal visit to check on his investment, and enjoy the fare.

And what could be more natural than taking a seat with his fellow Scorpion.

"Shosuro-san, good evening."

[Doji Nadeshiko]

They are joined by a Crane who looks... more than a little dazed. Nadeshiko bows before sitting, her tea cup still in hand.

[Shosuro Otoko]

Otoko bowed as the two approached, and poured tea for the pair.

"Good evening, Bayushi-san, Doji-san. I hope that the first day of the competition wasn't too draining for you. There are six more to go after all." she offered, slightly concerned about the dazed Crane.

[Shosuro Hatsuki]

Hatsuki soon joined them, polite smile frozen onto her face. All of the expressions she was more inclined to make weren't appropriate for saving face. She is, however, not keeping it together as well as she might have normally. There are little flaws in the expression. A slight twitch in the right cheek, just below her eye, perhaps.

Nevertheless, her tone was surprisingly normal. She bowed to Otoko as she entered. "Good evening, everyone. It is lovely to see you. I hope everything is going well?"

Otoko bowed at the entrance of Hatsuki and poured for her a cup of the tea.

"It has certainly been an interesting day, Shosuro-san." she offered. "I have to say your display of makeup was...quite stunning."

She tapped the side of her mask.

"Not something I myself can take advantage of, unless you are also secretly adept at crafting masks, but I can appreciate the sheer skill that you have."

[Shosuro Hatsuki]

Hatsuki took a nice, soothing sip of tea. "Thank you, Shosuro-San. I would wish to practice more before crafting one for one such as yourself, but I have been known to craft masks in the past."

[Bayushi Choudai]

I hope that the first day of the competition wasn't too draining for you.

Yoshiaki arrived as well more on time this time around "Good evening, from what I saw you all performed quite well today." He said bowing as he joined the group.

"It is a rare treat to see so many expertly done and varied displays of artistic talent." He mentioned taking a small sip of his own tea.

Otoko bowed as the two approached, and poured tea for the pair.

He had enjoyed her story, so a great deal of the pleasure was genuine.

Hatsuki bowed, as well. "Otomo-sama, a pleasure to see you. I hope my work from this morning has served you well."

[Doji Nadeshiko]

The Crane joins the bowing Scorpion, though Nadeshiko sits up a little quicker than she intends Hatsuki speaks of her work. Oh! Her eyes open to get a good look as she greets the Otomo princess: "A pleasure to make your acquaintance. Doji Nadeshiko."

Otoko bowed as was expected from the arrival of an Imperial.

"Ah, good evening, Otomo-san. What an unexpected surprise." she offered cordially. "How is Yoritimo-san doing?"

"Good evening mina-san" Yua smiled, giving them all a polite bow "it has been a good day for art, ne? I hope you are all well."

She looked to the Crane woman and added "lovely to meet you Doji-san, I am Otomo Yua."

Her final gaze settled on the odd woman asking her about Mantis of all things, a slight tilt of the head.

"Yoritomo-san? Ah, do you mean Yoritomo Tomodachi? I have no idea, my apology. We only spoke briefly recently. However if I converse with him again I will pass on your regards, although I'm sure you could also do that yourself. I'm an Otomo, not a Miya herald" there was a small chuckle.
