As advertised: if you think your character knows some folks, this is where to hammer it out.

[Bayushi Choudai]

If anyone got's a female character potentially marrying into the Scorpion Clan, Choudai could use a fiancee.

No Blissful Betrothals. Bitter is an option, but I kind of see things as unsettled at this point, rather than hardened into actual hostility.

Be advised that doing so will come with its share of headaches- not many in-laws to worry about, but, well... anyone familiar with Choudai's history will understand a certain lack of enthusiasm for the prospect.

Other connections that don't already slot into shared backstory seem unlikely, but if someone wants a chef pen-pal, lemme know.

[Bayushi Ameiko]

If anyone wants to have met Ameiko before, let me know!

Opportunities are

if you are affiliated with or have traveled by the 100 stances dojo. Some pilgrims do go there to see Osano-Wo's Rock.
if you are a student of the bayushi bushi school (her uncle is the head sensei)
If you are an imperial or have been to the capital on court business/you know Otomo Gaitsu
If you are a Moshi (her uncle/sensei is married to a Moshi shugenja and Ameiko has met some of those relatives)

...random road travel? Her charge likes to move around a lot.

Yua is still very young, but she has already attended the Imperial Winter Court as well as other important courts. If you:

• Spend a lot of time with Imperials
• Have been to, visited or live in the Imperial city
• Attended the Emperors Winter court recently

You may have met or been charmed by Yua already!

Seeking:

• Pen-pals of all stripes! Perhaps they met during their gempukku at the Topaz Championship? Or maybe a chance meeting during Kyuden Doji's Winter Court? Who knows! We'll figure it out.
• Trained at the Kakita Dueling Academy? So did Nadeshiko. They could have been friends!
• Are you a Crane or of the Shosuro family? They may be cousins! At the very least you'll know more about her than most.
• Like poetry? Maybe you've read her pillowbook. PM if you want it ^^
• Have a Crane you hate in your backstory? Perhaps there was iaijutsu duel...
• If you're a craftsman or artisan who's spent any time in Crane lands, Nadeshiko might have bought something you created as she loves collecting beautiful things.
• Similarly if you're a poet, playwright, actor, singer, or critic, she may know of you as well.
