Asano took out a fan and brought it up over her face, hiding a light blush, "I mean... we're all artists here right? I guess I am just curious, since I put so much into my paintings..."

"The artist's intentions are part of the completed work," she responded. "As I already said. The artist simply doesn't have total control of their audience's response. Like a conversation, you can say something and your conversation partner might take it completely differently. "

"And I simply wonder if the artists intent matters in the grand scope of things. If someone looks at a painting and sees or feels something would their feeling be invalidated if the artist intended something different with the piece?"

She gave a small smile before looking up at a bird perched on a hedge nearby, the thing flying off and the Asahina following it into the maze.
