Choudai was shown a pleasant smile. Then she turned her attention to Kojiro. Yoshino took a deep breath as she moved to an almost intimately close distance in front of him.

"Isawa-sama, why do you purposefully cause a scene wherever you go? Your actions disrespect me, upset my family, disturb this competition and embarrass yourself and your Clan. I had prepared a gift for you to thank you for your assistance, but let us not forget that you only truly did so as you owed Doji-sama a favour. Will you please call me by my name and start behaving with honour befitting your status?" She smiled thinly. "Show everyone that your Sensei taught you how to act in polite company, yes?"

As Yoshino approaches, Nadeshiko finds a place beside her, eyes closed as she simply stands in solidarity -- ready to defend the girl again if necessary. Though her fellow Doji likely will not need it.

He turned his attention back to the curse-chan.

"That is an interesting blend of false bravado and ignorance you are choosing to move forward with, baka-chan." he idly commented.

He suddenly move in so close enough the spices on his breath made her eyes water. The grin was gone.

"When you can comport yourself as a Doji, I will call you Doji-san. When you chose to act like an idiot child and a danger to those around you, you'll be curse-chan, baka-chan, yoyo, and whatever cute little name pops into my head." he hissed quietly enough for only her to hear."

"Your crossroad comes in two days, curse-chan. Either you'll come with me to the institute, so we can prevent the sort of collateral damage you're too stupid to realize you cause while we work on a solution....or you'll throw a fit like a child and refuse to go. The first path is a hard one, but you'll grow and people will be safe. The second is going to cause despair and death to those foolish enough to keep your company. Try to make the choice Doji would, curse-chan."

He then backflipped away. Landing on his feet he waved broadly. The grin was back and as wide as ever.

"See you in two days!" he said, before turning on his heel and boldly striding away, and a jaunty tune on his lips.

As Kojiro walks away Nadeshiko leans forward to whisper something to Yoshino.

"But only as you need it," She adds she as pulls away. The woman does not wish to... well... cause even greater bother to Yoshino.

"When you comport yourself as a samurai I will consider travelling with you. While you comport yourself as a peasant I will not." Yoshino shot back.

She gave Nadeshiko a nod and a quick smile. She was fine.

Instead she cleared her throat and spoke at just the right loudness so all nearby could hear.

"How the honourable and wise Phoenix Clan can have such a dishonourable, discourteous, uncompassionate man as a samurai is beyond me. He comes across as antithetical to bushido, which would be deplorable enough, but it is the height of irony when one considers the theme of all our efforts."

She shook her head and set down her soup. As she turned around her eyes noted the room. Her right hand was placed to her lips. "I was louder than I realised after his dishonourable behaviour so shocked me. Please do excuse me everyone."

Yoshino bows her head apologetically.
