Day 5, LE, around the inn - Worried Warding

Asano usually used this prayer for cleansing and ritual preparation. Using it to make an area anathema to an actual evil spirit felt infinitely different. More pressure, more unknowns... and such a big building!

But she was determined, like always. She wasn't the quickest learner, the most creative, or the most perceptive... but she tried her hardest, every time. And the air kami responded to emotion and grace, two things Asano had as she walked to all four corners of the inn, blessing them with the paper wand and a slow dance.

She knew it had worked as the air kami began their work, the inn's staff suddenly finding the whole inn starting to sort and clean itself, papers and sheets and dust all straightening or piling up neatly. The guests too would feel the air more refreshing, purer.

But would a painting demon, or whatever it was, really care about such a minor ward? All Asano could do at this point was wait and see.
