Sapphire Ambassadors

Day 4
A light mist in the early morning gives way to light cloud cover for the rest of the day. Temperatures rise to comfortable levels in the afternoon and cool again in the evening. Slight breezes vary throughout the day, as well. The dominant element is Void.

The Sun remains in the Hare, and the Moon is full in the Rooster; Moon’s Curse takes effect in EE. Bishamon and Ebisu are in conflict. Benten remains in the Serpent, with Fukurokujin remaining in the Rat, Daikoku and Jurojin in the Tiger, and Hotei in the Ox.

"Full moon tonight."
"Yep."

"You heard the commotion at the Jinbaori?"
"What, did the guy set the kitchen on fire again?"
"No, some Crane was screaming about shadowy figures in the night."
"With all the Scorpion in town, is it any surprise?"

"He made fugu?"
"Yes."
"And people ate it?"
"Yes."
"Man, people these days..."
"Yes."

"A Unicorn who can't ride?"
"Well, you know, if it had been a proper Unicorn horse....."
"Yes, and if I was a few inches taller, I would've made that pass in Kemari."
"Point."

"Silently he crept up on the unexpected monk, his sword lifted high...."
"Look, who can keep track of a couple of monks?"
"Which is how he gets away with it!"
"I saw them leaving the gate."
"Did you? Or was that the killer in disguise?"
"Look, I just don't think 'The True Story of the Scorpion Monk Serial Killer' is going to play well."
"What if I add a sexy fallen Crane seductress?"
"Who is she going to seduce?"
"......monks?"
"I'm not sure you understand monks."

Where has she gone, that vision of loveliness? I will not rest until I find her again.
