This is the last day of the first session, for those of you itching to use "once per session" abilities...
Weather and Astrology
Temperatures range from quite cool in the early morning to mild in the afternoon before returning to the morning coolness in the evening. Light clouds cross the sky all day, driven by steady breezes from the east. The dominant element is Air.
The Sun remains in the Hare; the Moon will be full tomorrow. Benten remains in the Serpent, with Bishamon and Fukurokujin still in the Rat, Daikoku and Jurojin still in the Tiger, Hotei in the Ox, and Ebisu in the Dragon.

"Strange going-on at the Jinbaori the last couple of nights."

"Did you see that Scorpion force that poor young woman to look at it?"
"She was so brave, though, facing it!"

"I knew something smelled funny about that Scorpion, but I never thought it was that..."
"So how is 'Cough-EE' an art? I've never even heard of it."
"There's a lot you haven't heard of."
"Ok, fair point, but how do you compare it to something like poetry that's been around since the founding of the Empire?"
"I know, right? It's almost like literally can't compare things that have nothing in common."
"Then....what's the point of the competition?"
"Favors and recognition. Same as any other 'tournament' You don't end up in the final of any tournament without a lot of politics."
"So...you had some...what's Kuffy like?"
"So imagine black tea...."

"Then burn the leaves"

"Then oversteep them for a week."
"That sounds.....bad"
"So bad I haven't been able to sleep all night!"

"I heard his appetites are large...and not limited to food."

"Yeah, started his day with a peasant girl in the kitchen, and ended it with a young samurai-ko in the bedroom."

"Sowing his wild oats while he can I reckon."
