Not sure if there are more games in this Universe, but I'm willing to play in more if the time is right. Sorry again for not getting around to talking to everyone

I enjoyed having you!
What prompted this character?

Honestly, no one was playing Crab! But also wanted to showcase the simpler arts wherever I could.
(Last minute participation because of scheduling changes, you see)

We but briefly touched and mostly missed like ships in the night. Oh well. Was nice to have seen you though.
In character, was Kunio a willing participant or was it more of a thing he did for the Clan out out a sense of duty? What was his motivation?

Now assuming that the Topaz Championship would come just after the Sapphire one, it would have absolutely been a goal of Kaiu Kunio to join this event, if for other reason than to have a perfectly viable excuse to go support his youngest sister. However, duty to the Emperor pulls him away from that, but at least there is a good political pull from this.
Now onto the portion of motivation, this is post-hoc justification for True Love, but should Kaiu Kunio have won this, he would be valuable enough as a marriage candidate to not only get the Jade his clan would receive by marrying some undesirable lady, but would also be big enough a deal to justify a shugenja to marry into duty on the wall. Alas, life rarely goes the way the little crab wants.

Did he ever pick up on how completely full of shit Choudai was about having been a quartermaster?
What was your favorite presentation he made?
Did he throw you any curveballs?
Biggest missed opportunity?

Favorite presentation I made would definitely be the one for Courtesy, I think such a piece would certainly start some conversation. I imagine it would be something people talk about while drunk trying to figure out what the guy did that made his complete disregard for courtesy obvious and start discussions. If talking about Choudai, I would say the honesty one was pretty good.
Now for curveballs, not really too sure about how many curveballs can be thrown when it comes to expecting scorpion shenanigans, but the red meat certainly was one. However On and the fact the lord didn't say anything held Kunio's tongue (not like there were any goblins here).
Biggest missed opportunity would definitely be that I in my tired mind mixed up honesty and sincerity when both assigning xp and making the art description, so I ended up not being able to make a very open statement about how my tears are a very small price to pay for the tears the clan needs.
And the whole full of shit about being a quarter master, couldn't be too certain since it was also a likely possibility for a position in war that also has some shady elements that would have made sense. Like, oh I don't know bribing an enemy soldier to leave an opening for a match to meet a bag or two of grain.

I meant, did Kunio throw you any curveballs
Choudai's erratic and often self-destructive behavior isn't something anyone should have to plan for.

Honestly, not too many curveballs unless you count what I needed to do for True Love (try to find a way to take Syrani's braclet)

I did wonder what disadvantage played into that. Sorry my posting schedule meant not really advancing along that path in a way that left time for alternate plans.
What would the alternate plan have been? XD
Thanks for making through those threads with the timezone and scheduling being less than great.

Honestly, I don't even know. I dumped everything you need to be a ninja so it would have been a lot of ask the gm how to hire someone.

Wanted at least one crunchy disadvantage and I already burned the other points on fluff ones like Consumed by insight: Lore:Engineering and Lord Moon's Curse

1. Did you have fun?
2. What thing from this game would you like to see in future games?
3. What thing from this game would you like to not see in future games?

1. Yes
2. Honestly appreciate the artsy stuff, really makes these lesser used schools come out to play.
3. Would like to avoid assuming that players would make events every day, if used as a crutch it leads to unintentionally bare games. (More of a warning than I don't want to see)
