But of course, one thing with cooking was, you couldn't go and do a day in advance- except, of course for the things you did, but...

Anyway.

She was in the same town as him. Once again.

Benten, you either love or hate us both, and I can't decide which.

He got to work on something, then. Something to take his mind off of everything else.

Something for the other young Scorpion woman in his life these days. The one who reminded him a bit of his little sister Ayame, probably because they were almost nothing alike.

So Bayushi Choudai got to work making a kite.

He opted for black and gold as the primary color scheme and sat cross-legged on the floor, whistling tunelessly to himself as he constructed it.

It wasn't a particular passion of his, but he appreciated the fact that it took up some of his mental focus.

That he had to think about it enough that his mind couldn't wander, but that it also didn't carry him away like his art did.

Or the mother of his child.
